Ephesians 1:4, For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Think about that for a second. Before the foundation of the world. Before you were born. Before you made a single mistake or proved yourself worthy. God chose you. Not because of what you'd accomplish. Not because of who you'd become. Simply because He wanted you. Most of us spend our lives trying to earn a place that was already ours. We climb and strive and perform, thinking acceptance is something we have to win. But the truth is brutal and beautiful: your selection was made before time itself. You didn't choose Him first. He chose you first. That changes everything. It means you're not scrambling to be good enough. You're not proving your worth to a God who's already decided your worth is infinite. You're living from a place of already being chosen, already being loved, already being His.
You were chosen. Now live like it.
