You'll Understand Later
John 13:7 — Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."
Right now, it might not make sense. The closed door. The delay. The season that feels like it's going nowhere. You're asking God for clarity and getting silence.
But this verse is a promise: what confuses you now will make sense later. God isn't obligated to explain Himself in real time. He's building something you can't fully see yet.
The disciples didn't understand what Jesus was doing when He knelt to wash their feet. It looked backwards, undignified, wrong. But later, it became one of the most powerful lessons of servant leadership ever taught.
Your confusing season is the same. You're in the middle of a story God is still writing. Trust the Author. The parts that don't make sense now are setting up something you'll be grateful for later.
Trust now. Understand later.
